Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports is indexed in a wide variety of relevant databases, these include: Directory of Open Access Journals, Web of Science’s Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Google Scholar, HINARI, PubMed, PubMed Central, and SCImago. We anticipate future indexing by Medline, which will be applied to all published articles retrospectively.
Research journal editorial policies usually restrict all but a few (if any) case reports being published so as not to waste valuable space or stunt impact factor growth. As case reports are not highly cited (despite being widely read), we do not expect this publication to achieve a high impact factor. Rather, Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports will provide a welcome publishing outlet for authors’ case reports, and will not be restricting the number of high-quality case reports published.
